We're in Milk!

After stressing about having enough milk to keep up with my soapmaking, it sure is nice not to have to worry anymore.  

Nutmeg is now giving us right at a gallon per day!

So, this week, I've been able to freeze milk in ice cubes for soapmaking, 

and try out my new yogurt maker that I got for Christmas (Thanks, Mom and Dad!).

Unlike my old one that relied upon the warmth of a sunny day to maintain an incubating temperature, this new one is electric so we can have yogurt -- rain or shine!

I hope to churn out some frozen yogurt this week as well as some cheese.

I don't foresee, though, that we'll be able to make use of ALL the milk Nutmeg is producing, so those who have inquired about milk purchase, be on the lookout.  I have a few more details to work out regarding storage, pricing, and such, but I hope to have it available for purchase soon.
