Last weekend we had some adorable farm visitors.

Two of my nephews accompanied my parents and enjoyed their first trip to our new farm. They had a great time playing with all of the animals and got to visit the watermelon festival, too!

Not at all timid, this guy reached right up under the chickens in their nesting boxes. He was an excellent egg gatherer!

Nutmeg, who doesn't really like loud noises or distractions while she's being milked, was a good sport and let each of the kids get at least one squirt into the pail.

We had a great time with the boys and look forward to when they can come back for a visit and bring with them their brand new baby brother Noah -- who was just born Wednesday!
