My parents came up to spend this past weekend with us . . . and we put them to work! Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures, but here are a couple my mom caught.

Dad helped John hang paneling in the kids' playhouse, set fence posts, hang fencing, pick-up construction materials, and more.

Mom helped me with lots of things -- from prepping Sunday morning's breakfast at church to fixing broken closet rails to painting the paneling (the perfect color ;) once the guys had finished hanging it.

Oh, and we harvested quite a few backyard berries to take with us to breakfast Sunday.

John is currently on "vacation" from his day job and is putting some crazy hours at the farm. Today, for example, he's enjoyed his day off by driving 170 fenceposts . . . and it's just lunch time! Yesterday he hung trim (as pictured above) in the kids' playhouse. He's working so hard on this vacation that he may be glad to get back to the bank when it's time!
