The barn is finally complete, and we couldn't be happier with it! It will serve as farm equipment and feed storage, animal shelter (under left overhang), and milking parlor.

The pic below is mostly for my dad who requested a pic showing where things are in relation to one another. :) The photo was taken from what will be the inside of the house (see the stakes marking it off?) and looking due south. The road will eventually curve around the house and come down behind it (to the right of where I'm standing) and run along the front of the kids' playhouse (shown at right) and down to the barn.

And, this will eventually be our view from the living, dining, kitchen space.

The water line to the barn has been installed and electricity is next! Once the electricity is in, we can move our new-to-us mobile home into place. So . . . who wants to buy our house "in town" so that we can go ahead and get out there already? ;)
