Our Cast Iron Skillet Handle Covers are 100% cotton and are easily machine-washed and dried. The slender sleeve slides onto the long, primary handle, and the buttoned piece fastens around the secondary handle. The yarn is held double while crocheting to create a thicker construction and prevent heat from getting through as it may with other thinner handle covers.

Here at the farm, we use our cast iron skillest multiple times per day, beginning with our eggs each morning. Our resident Farmher designed these covers for our use and has crafted extras to share with you.

Brood Farm crocheted items are handcrafted here on the farm in the evening hours of winter when daylight is scarce for outside farm work.
